Project Overview

Construction of a new 3,975-foot long, 24” Interceptor Sewer that begins at the Contract 1 ending point in the intersection of E. 17th St. and N. Boise Ave and extends to an existing manhole in Madison Ave. north of Silver Leaf Drive.  Pipe depths ranged from 12’-22’ with 1200 LF installed using sliderail to allow 2-way traffic and installation next to existing sewer line.

Construction of a new 1, 700-foot long, electric duct bank that parallels the southern half of the 24-inch interceptor and ends at the intersection of Hoffman Drive and N. Boise Ave.

Project challenges included coordination with customers, maintaining access to hospital, pedestrian access and dewatering.

Project was completed under original budget which included additional scope over $300,000.
